Scotland Wins Judgement to keep the UK in the EU

Scotland has won a landslide victory that could see article 50 being unilaterally revoked if Theresa May loses her parliamentary vote on Brexit.

CJEU

In what is becoming known as the “Scottish Case” the team of Cross Party petitioners rejoiced when the Advocate General of the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg (CJEU), issued his preliminary opinion that Article 50 may indeed be unilaterally revoked.

Although the Grand Chamber has yet to issue their judgment, the Prime Minister who was questioned by the SNP’s Joanne Cherry at PMQs, thinks the court will follow the Advocate General’s lead.

Thanks to some forward thinking by members of the Scottish Government, Westminster now has another choice instead of the “Bad Deal” or “No Deal” scenario being offered by the Prime Minister in her meaningful vote.

Revoking Article 50 will mean….

Scotland in the EUAlthough revoking Article 50 may not be what the majority of people in England voted for, it is certainly what the people of Scotland & Northern Ireland overwhelmingly voted for, and while the right wing “little Englanders” may spit out their racist dummies and the elitist tax avoiders cry foul, the rest of us may sleep a little better knowing that the disaster that is Brexit may finally be coming to an end.
